The first topic on April 8th will cover Chef Carlos’ journey into a culinary career and how he was able to market himself to potential schools, employers, and organizations to take advantage of the opportunities presented to him. 

The second topic on April 22nd will cover how you can leverage your contacts and opportunities to create a network that focusses on community service.

SPEAKER SERIES: ARTIST LIFE EDITION

Rayos Magos is a local Chicano, mixed media artist, born and raised in San Jose, CA. He takes inspiration from spirituality, psychology, and philosophy. Rayos works in mixed media, printmaking, painting, and collaging in order to capture imagery that communicates a deeper sense of humanity and connection to the universe. Join us to learn more about his career and how he transitioned from working at a non-profit to working as a freelance artist.

SLAM YOUTH CONFERENCE 2021

May 20-22, 2021

AACI Youth Programs is proud to present our annual SLAM Youth Conference!

The SLAM Youth Conference is a three-day sports, leadership, arts, and media conference hosted by both the Friday Night Live (FNL) and Youth in Technology Incubator (YTI) programs at AACI. The conference will be hosted virtually on Zoom. Each day includes an introduction, energizer, two engaging and interactive speakers, and a closing activity.
